José María Yanguas Sanz (born October 26, 1947 in Alberite ) is a Spanish priest and bishop of Cuenca .
Life
José María Yanguas Sanz was ordained a priest on June 19, 1972 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Cuenca on December 23, 2005.
The Archbishop of Toledo , Antonio Cañizares Llovera , gave him episcopal ordination on February 25 of the following year ; Co- consecrators were Cardinal Francesco Monterisi , Secretary of the Congregation for Bishops and the College of Cardinals , and Ramón del Hoyo López , Bishop of Jaén . He chose Spe Gaudentes as his motto .
