José Vicente Huertas Vargas
José Vicente Huertas Vargas (born April 12, 1940 in Ramiriquí ) is a Colombian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Garagoa .
Life
José Vicente Huertas Vargas was ordained a priest on February 11, 1967 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Garagoa on June 23, 2000. The Apostolic Nuncio in Colombia, Archbishop Beniamino Stella , donated his episcopal ordination on August 4th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Luis Augusto Castro Quiroga IMC , Archbishop of Tunja , and Alvaro Raúl Jarro Tobos , Military Bishop of Colombia .
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on June 15, 2017.
