Josef Breiteneicher

Josef Breiteneicher (born February 24, 1873 in Zottenberg (formerly Ast municipality ), † May 15, 1958 in Jesenwang ) was a Catholic pastor .

Life

Josef Breiteneicher was born on a farm in the hamlet of Zottenberg. He attended the seminary in Freising. Page XX On June 29, 1899 he was ordained a priest Page 200 and then made a career through the cooperation administrator, coadjutor, parish vicar and cooperator in Eiselfing , Pfaffing , Ainring and Oberföhring . It was on July 5, 1909, the parish of St. Korbinian in Unterhaching invested and remained there as Benefiziat until February 1920. On 16 February 1920 he was pastor in Jesenwang. On February 20, 1920, he was made an honorary citizen by the Unterhaching community . The community thanked him thus for the prevention of the loss of the church bells in the First World War . This made him the first honorary citizen of Unterhaching.

In Jesenwang he worked towards the fact that the church " St. Johann Baptist " could be built in the neighboring parish of Landsberied in 1931/1932. On March 17, 1939, he was appointed to the clergy of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising. Page XXX On May 1, 1950, he became a freelance pastor, and on May 15, a commorant, thus retiring. He was also made an honorary citizen by the community of Jesenwang.

After his death he was buried in Jesenwang on May 20, 1958.

His first name is Joseph, his family name and widths ai cher, or rarely widths rei written cher. After Epitaph , and the stone at St. Michael Church in Jesenwang, and his death-image, only Josef widths ei cher correctly.
