Josef "Beppo" Frank (born August 2, 1984 in Bad Tölz ) is a German ice hockey player who last played for EC Bad Tölz in the DEL2 .

Career

Josef Frank began his career in the junior staff at EC Bad Tölz , from which he moved to Mannheim in 2000 . There he played 2000/01 with the Jungadler Mannheim in the German junior league and at the same time in the Regionalliga Süd . In the summer of 2001, the defender moved to SC Riessersee , for which he was also used in the German junior league. The following summer he moved back to Bad Tölz, where he was in the junior team of the EC in 2002/03 and 2003/04 and at the same time in the senior division of the 2nd Bundesliga.

In the 2004/05 season , Frank played for the first time exclusively in the senior team of the Tölzer Löwen. In the summer of 2005, the defender moved to Garmisch-Partenkirchen for SC Riessersee in the major league . In the 2006/07 season the Bavarian received a DEL sponsorship license from the Nürnberg Ice Tigers in addition to his right to play in the major league , with which he made his first appearances in the highest German professional league. Also in the 2007/08 season he was on the ice for the Ice Tigers and for the SC Riessersee team in the 2nd Bundesliga .

In the summer of 2010, the defender announced his move to Starbulls Rosenheim , who had been promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. He won the DEB Cup with the Starbulls and was able to advance to the semi-finals in the playoffs. In these, the Starbulls were eliminated from the preliminary round winner Ravensburg Towerstars .

He played for the Starbulls until 2016 before returning to EC Bad Tölz.
