Joseph Erwein
Joseph Duclas Erwein (born December 27, 1819 , † November 18, 1909 in Klagenfurt ) was an Austrian lawyer and politician .
Life
Joseph Duclas Erwein was born on December 27, 1819 as the son of the caretaker of the Counts of Dietrichstein in Finkenstein . After completing his law degree , Erwein worked as a lawyer . In 1861 he was appointed to the Carinthian state parliament , in which he represented the large estates until 1866, Sankt Veit an der Glan from 1866 to 1870 and again from 1871 the large estates. He was a member of the State Court and since 1895 a life member of the manor house . From 1884 to 1896 he was governor of Carinthia .
