Joseph Glowatzki (born March 10, 1847 in Leschnitz , † May 24, 1936 in Wyssoka ) was a Catholic clergyman and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Glowatzki attended high school in Gliwice until 1866 and was then Posteleve in Opole . He then studied for three years at the University of Wroclaw . During his studies he became a member of the KDStV Winfridia Breslau in the CV in 1866 . Since June 28, 1870 he was a priest and then a chaplain in Goschütz , Biskupitz and Pawonkau . From May 1, 1884 pastor in Wyssoka, on September 24, 1889 he was appointed archpriest of the Archipresbyterate Groß Strehlitz and on May 23, 1902 as prince-bishop's commissioner. He founded the Prelate Glowatzki Hospital in Groß Strehlitz.

From 1898 to 1918 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and also from 1898 to 1918 of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the administrative district of Oppeln 3 ( Groß Strehlitz , Kosel ) and the German Center Party .
