life and work

Joseph Hiendl worked for the organ building company Ignaz Weise . After settling in Passau in 1925, he opened an organ building company in Passau in the Neustift district in cooperation with the organ builder and voicer Julius Becker. They traded under the name of Becker & Hiendl Orgelbau and created numerous instruments in the Lower Bavarian region, predominantly with pneumatic action . In addition to the production of organs, furniture was also produced. After Julius Becker's death, Hiendl ran the company alone.
