Jovana Rapport (* 18th February 1992 as Jovana Vojinovic in Trstenik ) is a Serbian chess player . Until 2007 she was registered for the Chess Federation of Serbia and Montenegro, from 2007 to 2013 for the Montenegrin and since April 2013 for the Serbian.

Life

Her father, the international master Goran Vojinović (1963-2016), was a chess coach. Her younger sister also plays chess. She has been married to the Hungarian grandmaster Richárd Rapport since 2016 .

successes

At the U10 girls' world championship in 2002 in Heraklion , she reached third place. In January 2009 she won the Mediterranean Women's Championship in Antalya in front of Elena Sedina . She won the Montenegrin women's individual championship in Cetinje in 2009 and 2010. In September 2011 she won the international women's tournament in Pančevo ahead of Ana Benderac .

She was very successful at the U18 European team championships for girls: in 2007, 2008 and 2009 playing on the top board, Montenegro came third in 2007 and second in 2008. Jovana Vojinović received an individual gold medal in 2008 in Szeged for her result of 6.5 points from 7 games with an Elo performance of 2499 and in 2009 in Pardubice an individual gold medal for her result of 6.5 out of 7 with an Elo performance of 2430 .

In December 2007 she received the title of International Women's Champion (WIM). She achieved the norms for this in March 2006 at the Sozina tournament in the Montenegrin port city of Bar , in November 2006 at the 19th Trophy in Belgrade and in March 2007 at the 39th women's tournament in Belgrade. Since June 2009 she has been the first female chess player in Montenegro to hold the title of Women's Grand Master (WGM). She achieved the norms for her WGM title in March 2009 at the European Individual Championship in Budva (the norm counted twice) and two weeks later at the Lique Basse Normandie tournament in Caen .

In August 2019 she was second in the Serbian women's rankings behind Nataša Bojković .

National team

Rapport took part in the women's chess Olympiad in 2008 , 2010 and 2012 on the top board of Montenegro, and in the 2014 Chess Olympiad on the second board of the Serbian women's team. With the women's national team of Montenegro she took part in the European Women's Championships in 2007, 2009 and 2011 , in 2009 and 2011 on the top board, for Serbia she played in the European Women's Team Championships in 2013 and 2015, where she achieved the best individual result on the second board in 2015.

With the ŠK T-Com Podgorica she took part in the European Women's Club Cup 2009 in Ohrid . She also played club chess in Serbian (for SK RAD Belgrade and ŠK Jelica PEP Goračići , with whom she took part in the 2013 European Club Cup in Rhodes ), Bosnian and (since the 2013/14 season ) in French (for Montpellier ) Leagues. In the 2014/15 season she played in the German women's Bundesliga for SK Schwäbisch Hall , for which she competes again in the 2016/17 season. In the Hungarian team championship she played for HVSE Infraplan in the 2015/16 season .
