Juan José Valiente

Juan José Valiente (born December 11, 1946 in Buenos Aires , Argentina , † February 1, 2015 ibid), also known by the nicknames Coco and La Chancha , was an Argentine football player in the position of a striker .

career

Valiente began his career in the youth division of the Boca Juniors , where he also received his first professional contract in 1967 , but did not complete a single game for the first team. In early 1968, he moved to Quilmes AC and 1970, for the first time just in the first Argentine league ascended CA Kimberley .

He then went abroad and won the Mexican Cup and the Supercup twice in a row with the Mexican club Club León in the 1970/71 and 1971/72 seasons .

He also played in Mexico for the CSD Jalisco . Further international positions were the Club Atlético Bella Vista in Uruguay , the FC Cádiz in Spain and Unión Magdalena and América de Cali in Colombia . In his home country he played (1974) for the Club Atlético Talleres .

After his active career, Valiente worked for a long time as a coach, including at the Venezuelan club Deportivo Táchira FC .
