Juan Carlos Romanín

Juan Carlos Romanín SDB (born November 4, 1954 in Sarandí ) is former bishop of Río Gallegos in Argentina .

Life

Juan Carlos Romanín joined the Order of the Salesians of Don Bosco , made his profession on December 21, 1978 and was ordained a priest on October 24, 1981 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on October 25, 2005 Bishop of Río Gallegos . The Bishop of Lomas de Zamora , Agustín Roberto Radrizzani , ordained him episcopal on December 17th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Esteban María Laxague SDB, Bishop of Viedma , and Alejandro Antonio Buccolini SDB, Bishop Emeritus of Río Gallegos.

He resigned from his office on April 18, 2012.
