Juergen Bachmann

Juergen Bachmann (born September 12, 1976 in Tirschenreuth ) is a German poker player and coordinator. He lives and works in Regensburg .

Career

Bachmann grew up in Mitterteich , attended the BOS Bayreuth after completing the Stiftland secondary school in Waldsassen and doing a commercial apprenticeship. He then studied information science and philosophy at the University of Regensburg .

After initial experience with Texas Hold'em , Bachmann worked as a media representative in the poker industry for German-language magazines and online news sites. At the same time, he organized poker events in southern Germany, including a poker tournament in Regensburg with 1,400 participants. Since 2012 he has been involved in the Gaming Institute founded by Stephan Kalhamer , a live poker school in German-speaking countries. There he mainly teaches basic courses and regular and dealer customers. As a card giver or dealer , he is part of live events of the World Series of Poker , European Poker Tour and World Poker Tour . He also gives training. In 2009, Bachmann was one of the founders of the German Poker Sports Association and has been an honorary member of the board since then. The DPSB is committed to the recognition of poker as a mind sport .

In December 2013, Bachmann, as a trainer and player, together with Matthias Weigert , Alex Mühlbauer and Stephan Kalhamer, won the APAT European title for Germany at the Amateur European Championship in Prague .
