Six Days of London
The Six Days of London (German mostly London six days race ) is a track cycling event in London , the tradition of which goes back to before the Second World War .
history
The London Six-Day Race was first held in 1923. From 1936 to 1980 it took place on a temporary 166 m long track at Wembley Arena ; between 1980 and 2015 the race was not held.
Since 2015 the race has been held as part of the Six Day Series in the velodrome of the Lee Valley VeloPark .
