Julia Comp
Julia Komp (born April 7, 1989 in Engelskirchen ) is a German cook .
Career
Julia Komp grew up in Overath and already completed an internship at Lerbach Castle as a student under the three Michelin-starred chef Dieter Müller . She trained as a cook in the restaurant Zur Tant in Cologne-Porz , whereupon she accepted a position in the boardroom of TÜV Rheinland. Then she was the sous- chef at the La Poêle d'O * r restaurant in Cologne.
From 2016 to the end of 2018 she was chef de cuisine at Loersfeld Castle in Kerpen , which was awarded a Michelin star in the Michelin Guide from 2017 to 2018. At the age of 27, she was the youngest chef in Germany to be awarded a Michelin star in 2016.
At the end of 2018, she left Loersfeld Castle to take a sabbatical in the course of 2019, including trips to Asia, North Africa and the Middle East.
In July 2020 she opened the Lindgens Lokschuppen restaurant and the Anker7 outdoor bistro .
Television appearances
In addition to appearances in the WDR productions Here and Today , at Home + On the Go and Cooking & Baking , she has also been a juror in the program Die Küchenschlacht on ZDF since 2018 .
