Nikola Kerezović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Никола Керезовић ; * September 12, 1994 ) is a Serbian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the KHK Red Star Belgrade since 2015 and has played with the club in the International Hockey League and the Serbian Ice Hockey League since 2017 .
Career
Nikola Kerezović began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of the HK Beostar , for whom he played in the Slovenian U20 league. After a year with HK NS Stars , for whom he played in the Hungarian U18 league, he moved to HK Red Star Belgrade in 2012 , for whom he made his debut in the Serbian league at the age of 18 and became Serbian champions at the end of the season . In 2013 he returned to HK Beostar and now also played in the Serbian ice hockey league for his home club. From 2012 to 2014 he was also on the ice for the Serbian U20 national team, which took part in the league under the name “Team Belgrade”. In 2014 he moved to Austria, where he played for the EV Zeltweg in the Styrian Eliteliga and the UHT Dukes Graz in the European University Hockey League. In 2015 he returned to Serbia and has since played for the KHK Roter Stern Belgrade , with whom he initially played in both the Serbian and Slovenian leagues and, since 2017, in the International Hockey League . In 2018 he became Serbian champion with the Red Star. He also played for HK Belgrade in the MOL league in 2016/17 .
International
For Serbia, Kerezović took part in the division II competitions of the U18 World Championships in 2010 , 2011 and 2012 , when he was voted the best player of his team, as well as the U20 World Championships in Division III in 2011 and Division II in 2012 , 2013 and 2012 2014 part.
In the men's area, Kerezović played for the Serbian national team at the World Championships in 2016 and 2018 in Division II. He also took part in the qualifying tournaments for Serbia for the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014 and in Pyeongchang in 2018 .
