Julian Ranftl (born February 17, 1996 ) is an Austrian handball player .

Career

Ranftl started playing handball at SG Handball West Vienna when he was young . He also attended the handball academy in Bad Vöslau , with which he, together with Tobias Wagner , Sebastian Frimmel and Aron Tomann , took part in test matches against the youth of the Füchse Berlin . In 2013, the right- winger qualified for the school world championship in Turkey with the school sports center Maroltingergasse . Ranftl took part in the play-offs of the Handball League Austria in 2013/14 and 2015/16 as part of the youth national team.

The 1.84 meter tall left-hander has been playing in the first team of SG Handball West Vienna in the Handball League Austria since 2013 .
