Julija Kondratjewa, who was organized in the Russian Army , made her debut in the 1996 Biathlon World Cup . She competed in her first race at an individual in Osrblie , which she finished in 40th. After only two World Cup races, she contested her first and only world championship in Ruhpolding . She was used in singles where she turned 60. 1997 Kondratjewa won the first World Cup points as the 23rd in a pursuit race in Oberhof . The Russian achieved her greatest international success at the European Championships in Minsk in 1998 , where she won the silver medal with Irina Djatschkowa and Svetlana Tschernoussowa in the relay race behind the German team. In 1999 the Russian achieved her best result in the World Cup with a 14th place in a sprint. The completion of the international career was the participation in the biathlon European championships in 2000 in Kościelisko . In the individual Kondratjewa was 26th and with Jelena Schalina , Olga Saizewa and Olga Romasko fifth in the relay competition.
