1939. The German high command sends secret agents to British Central Africa to incite the Tongghili tribe against the colonial rulers. The agents are led by Dr. Elise Brok, who disguised as a scientist works on the Tambosa experimental farm . She works with the agent Lang, who manages to find accomplices among the Tongghili in order to overthrow the chief of the tribe and to take over the leadership himself.

This plan is thwarted by three young Americans, Bob Elliott, Chuck Kelly and Pamela Courtney. They are supported by the jungle queen Lothel, who helps the Tongghili with her magical powers. Lothel is miraculously able to walk through fire unharmed, or to appear and disappear without leaving a trace. Lothel protects Bob, Chuck and Pamela from all dangers of the jungle, wild lions and angry natives. She can also get one of Dr. Brok preventing the planned murder of the three.
