Jutta Blatzheim-Roegler , b. Blatzheim , (born January 22, 1957 in Bad Godesberg ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and has been a member of the state parliament in Rhineland-Palatinate since 2011 .

In 1983 Jutta Blatzheim-Roegler became a member of the Greens. At that time she was the first Green politician in Bernkastel-Kues . She held a mandate for the Greens at the municipal level (Bernkastel-Andel local advisory council, Bernkastel-Kues municipal and association council) and in the Bernkastel-Wittlich district (Bernkastel-Wittlich district council). From 1999 to 2006 she was a member of the board of trustees of the University of Trier .

In third place on the state list of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen for the federal election in 2002 , it narrowly missed the entry into the German Bundestag by around 3,000 votes.

From 2005 to 2011 she was the spokesperson for the Rhineland-Palatinate state working group on transport for the Greens and from 2010 to 2012 spokesperson for the federal working group on mobility and transport. She is an opponent of the Hochmosel crossing and is active in various citizens' initiatives.

For the state election in Rhineland-Palatinate 2011 on March 27, 2011 she was placed as a direct candidate for constituency 23 ( constituency Bernkastel-Kues / Morbach / Kirchberg (Hunsrück) ) in the promising 5th place on the state list. In the constituency she achieved 12.2% (+ 6.3%) of the constituency votes and 12.9% (+ 8.5%) of the state votes and was elected to the state parliament via the state list. In her parliamentary group she was deputy chairwoman and political spokeswoman for mobility, transport and tourism in the 16th legislative period. In 2012 she was a member of the 15th Federal Assembly .

In the 2014 local elections, she was elected as a member of the Bernkastel-Wittlich District Council, the Bernkastel-Kues City Council and the Bernkastel-Andel Local Advisory Council.

In the state elections in Rhineland-Palatinate in 2016 on March 13, 2016, she was again in 5th place on the state list and was re-elected to the state parliament via the state list. In the 17th legislative period, she is still deputy group leader and responsible for the areas of mobility, transport and tourism. In addition, she works on the topics of economy, agriculture, viticulture , equality, women, anti-nuclear, disaster control, fire brigade and rescue service. At the beginning of 2017, Jutta Blatzheim-Roegler became the chairwoman of the Greens in the Enquete Commission on Economic and Location Factor Tourism in Rhineland-Palatinate . This started work in September of the same year.

Personal

Jutta Blatzheim-Roegler grew up in Bad Godesberg, where her father was a ministerial official in the Federal Ministry of Research and her mother worked in the US embassy. After graduating from the Clara-Fey-Gymnasium in Bad Godesberg in 1976, she studied political science and German studies , first at the University of Bonn , then at the University of Trier . From 1999 to 2011 she was a management assistant with a focus on communication and training consultant in a management consultancy in the social economy. She has lived on the Moselle in Bernkastel-Andel since 1978 . She is married with four grown children and two grandchildren.
