The steam locomotives "TELEGRAPH I" to "EUTERPE I" were three passenger locomotives of the KFNB . They were delivered to the KFNB by the Maffei locomotive factory in Munich in 1855 with the axle formula 1B. The machines had internal cylinders and a fire box that sagged a long way between the coupling axles. This "hanging box" led to an insufficiently loaded rear axle. Nevertheless, in 1898 Karl Gölsdorf praised it as the “perfect type of express train”.

The machines were rebuilt several times. The table shows the original dimensions.

All machines were retired in 1873 and 1877 .
