Kai-Fabian Schulz (born March 12, 1990 in Neumünster ) is a German soccer player .

career

societies

Schulz played in the youth team of FC St. Pauli until 2003 and then in the youth teams of Hamburger SV . He was already used as an 18-year-old A-Junior player in the 2008/09 season for the U-23 representation of HSV in the Regionalliga Nord. Coach Karsten Bäron changed the defender for the first time on matchday 5 in the home game against Magdeburg (0: 1). Bäron was replaced in December 2008 by the former U-19 supervisor Rodolfo Cardoso ; under him Schulz was one of the core cast of HSV II, who completed the round in the lower midfield. Schulz played 23 games and scored a goal in the local derby at Altona 93. For the following season 2009/10 Schulz received a professional contract, but was not used in the Bundesliga. In the regional league team he was still a regular player in central defense and came to another 24 regional league games (one goal).

In the summer of 2010 he was loaned to the second division club FSV Frankfurt for a year . There Schulz also initially only played in the U-23 team in the Regionalliga Süd. On the 10th matchday he came to his first appearance in the 2nd division when coach Hans-Jürgen Boysen called him in in the home game against SC Paderborn as a substitute for the injured central defender Marc Heitmeier .

During the summer break in 2011 Schulz moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena , where he signed a one-year contract. With Jena he was relegated from the 3rd division in the 2011/12 season . After relegation, he signed a one-year contract with SV Babelsberg 03 on June 6, 2012 . After only two short appearances for Babelsberg, however, he switched to regional league team Goslarer SC 08 during the winter break of 2012/2013 . There he played 56 times in the Regionalliga and scored six goals.

After his contract expired, Schulz moved to the Regionalliga Nordost for the newly promoted FC Schönberg 95 for the 2015/16 season . For the 2016/17 season , Schulz moved to the fifth-class Schleswig-Holstein League for SV Todesfelde .

National team

Schulz was part of the German U-17 national team in 2007, but did not take part in the finals of the U-17 World Cup in South Korea . In autumn 2009 Schulz was a member of the German U-20 national team at the Junior World Cup in Egypt and was used once by Horst Hrubesch in the group game against Cameroon (3-0).
