Kaja Fehr

Frances Catherine "Kaja" Fehr (born April 14, 1950 in Los Angeles ) is an American film editor .

Life

Frances Catherine (called 'Kaja') Fehr was born as one of four children and the daughter of the German editor Rudi Fehr and the American actress Maris Wrixon . After her father took on a managerial role at American Zoetrope , the production company of Francis Ford Coppola , he edited a film for the first time in almost 30 years and took on his daughter Kaja as an assistant editor. Both were then able to celebrate their greatest success to date with the comedy Die Ehre der Prizzis with an Oscar nomination for Best Editing . Since the beginning of the 21st century, Fehr has mainly worked in the television sector, for example as the editor of television series such as Criminal Intent , Prison Break and Pretty Little Liars .
