Kalina (Sławoborze)

Kalina (German dairy ) is a residential area near Poradz ( Petersfelde ) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland .

Geographical location

The residential area is located in Western Pomerania about 30 kilometers south of Kołobrzeg ( Kolberg ), about one kilometer east of the village of Poradz ( Petersfelde ). In the northeast is the village of Słowenkowo ( Neugasthof ), in the southeast the village of Stare Ślepce ( Alt Schleps ), in the southwest of the residential area Drzeń ( Dryhn ).

history

The living space originally formed an outwork of the manor in Rogzow , after the department of the previous outwork of Neugasthof von Rogzow, then an outwork of Neugasthof.

In 1884 the Pomeranian Provincial Association for Workers 'Colonies acquired the company and set up a workers' colony as a charitable institution. In the workers' colony, the unemployed and former prisoners were introduced to an orderly life as farm workers. For this purpose, the colony managed a large farm of 506 hectares, 250 hectares of which were arable land. In the Drienbruch, south of the dairy, the colonists were used to cultivate the peatlands . The workers' colony existed until 1945.

From 1899 to 1928 the dairy formed its own estate district . In 1928 the manor district was incorporated into the Petersfelde rural community as part of the dissolution of the manor districts in Prussia . Until 1945, the dairy was part of the Petersfelde rural community in the Kolberg-Körlin district of the Pomeranian province .

After the Second World War , the dairy, like all of Western Pomerania, came to Poland. The place got the Polish name Kalina .

Kalina is located in the Gmina Sławoborze ( rural municipality Stolzenberg ) in the powiat Świdwiński ( Schivelbeiner Kreis ) of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship .
