Pustowo (German Wedderwill ) is a place of residence near Mysłowice ( Moitzelfitz ) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland .

Geographical location

The place is located in Western Pomerania about 35 kilometers south of Kołobrzeg ( Kolberg ) on a country road between Mysłowice ( Moitzelfitz ) in the north and Słowieńsko ( Schlenzig ) in the south.

history

The place was founded at the beginning of the 19th century as the Vorwerk of the manor in Moitzelfitz, at the beginning the High German place name Widerwille also appeared. Around 1890 the Vorwerk was detached from the Moitzelfitz manor and sold to the Schlenzig estate owner H. Gottschalk. He and his heirs managed it as a Schlenzig Vorwerk until 1945.

Wedderwill initially belonged to Gutsbezirk Moitzelfitz and came after its dissolution, in time to the beginning of the First World War , the rural community Moitzelfitz. With Moitzelfitz it belonged to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the Prussian province of Pomerania until 1945 .

After the Second World War , Wedderwill came to Poland, as did all of Western Pomerania. The population was evicted and replaced by Poles . The Polish state gave the place the name Pustowo .
