Poradz (German Petersfelde ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the Gmina Sławoborze (municipality of Stolzenberg) in the powiat Świdwiński (Schivelbeiner Kreis) .

Geographical location

The village is located in Western Pomerania about 30 kilometers south of Kołobrzeg ( Kolberg ). Neighboring villages are four kilometers north of Dębica ( Damitz ), five kilometers northeast of Słowenkowo ( Neugasthof ), five kilometers southeast of Stare Ślepce ( Alt Schleps ) and five kilometers south of Powalice ( Petershagen ). To the west of the village lies the forest, behind it the residential areas Bukowo ( Buchwald ) and Kamień Rymański ( Hohenfier ).

The Kalina ( Meierei ) residential area, which temporarily belongs to Petersfelde, is about one kilometer east of the village, the Drzeń ( Dryhn ) residential area about two kilometers south.

history

Until the end of the 19th century, Petersfelde was an advance plant of the manor in Petershagen , the largest farm in the Kolberg-Körlin district . Brüggemann mentions it in his description of Petershagen only briefly as "the Petersfelde sheep farm, formerly called the Heideschäferey". Some of the day laborer families lived in Petersfelde.

When the Petershagen manor was divided up in 1891/1893, Petersfelde was sold separately and managed by the purchaser as an independent property. But already in 1903 it was foreclosed and bought by two Berlin merchants. In 1910 they were able to acquire the neighboring Dryhn , also a former Vorwerk von Petershagen and since 1891/1893 it has been managed as an independent estate. Petersfelde and Dryhn were now parceled out by them, resulting in 27 bonded goods and the residual goods Dryhn and Petersfelde.

The political order followed the economic development: Petersfelde originally belonged to the Petershagen manor district . Around 1900 a separate manor district Petersfelde was formed with an area of 2375 ha. After the parceling from 1910 on, the rural community Petersfelde was formed in place of the manor district.

With the abolition of the manor districts in Prussia in 1928, the neighboring manor district Meierei , which included a workers' colony, was finally incorporated into the rural community of Petersfelde. Until 1945, the rural community Petersfelde belonged to the Kolberg-Körlin district of the Pomerania province .

In 1936 an airfield was built near Petersfelde . During the Second World War , the Reich acquired the remnants of Petersfelde and Dryhn to set up an artillery firing range.

After the Second World War, Petersfelde came to Poland, as did all of Western Pomerania. The place was given the Polish name Poradz .
