Kalla Tupac Katari (also: Calla Tupac Katari or Tupac Katari or Kalla Baja Tupac Katari ) is a town in the La Paz department in the highlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Kalla Tupac Katari is the central place of the canton of Kalla Tupac Katari in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Jesús de Machaca in the province of Ingavi . Kalla Tupac Katari is located at an altitude of 3879  m twenty kilometers south of Lake Titicaca on the western edge of the river plain of the Río Desaguadero .
