The Kamienna is a left tributary of the Vistula in Poland . It rises around 13 km west of Szydłowiec near Antoniów in the Masovian Voivodeship , but after a short run it enters the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship , where it turns to the southeast, runs through the Kielc mountains , the cities of Skarżysko-Kamienna , Wąchock , Starachowice , Ostrowiec Flows through Świętokrzyski and Ćmielów , then turns north and continues from Bałtów in an east-northeast direction until it flows into the Vistula in Kępa Piotrowińska shortly after re-entering the Masovian Voivodeship after a 138 km run. The catchment area is given as 2007.9 km². The mean discharge at the mouth is 10 m³ / s. A railway line follows the valley of the Kamienna for long stretches.
