The Kanpur Division is a division in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh . The administrative headquarters are in the city of Kanpur . The division was created in 2000 from parts of the Allahabad division . The districts of the division are located near the Delhi capital region and are more developed than the rest of Uttar Pradesh
