Kantathi Suphamongkhon (Thai: กัน ต ธี ร์ ศุภมงคล ) (born April 3, 1952 in Bangkok ) is a former Foreign Minister of Thailand .

In the same year he joined the Thai Foreign Ministry and took on a teaching position in international law and foreign relations. Between 1988 and 1992 he represented Thailand at the UN in New York . From 1993 to 1994 he worked again at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as director of the policy and planning department.

Kantathi has been a member of parliament since 1995 and has served on numerous committees in this capacity. Since 2001 he has been the Prime Minister's special envoy .

From March 11, 2005 to the coup on September 19, 2006 , Kantathi Suphamongkhon was Foreign Minister of Thailand.
