The canton of Atulcha is a municipality in the Department of Potosí in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The Cantón Atulcha is one of thirteen cantons in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Colcha "K" in the province of Nor Lípez . The canton is located in the south-western part of Bolivia, it borders in the northwest with the canton Santiago de Agencha , in the southwest with the canton Llavica , in the southeast with the canton Chuvica , and in the northeast with the canton Río Grande .
The canton extends between approximately 20 ° 34 'and 20 ° 37' southern latitude and 67 ° 36 'and 67 ° 40' western longitude, it measures up to six kilometers from north to south and from east to west. There is only one municipality in the canton, the central place is Atulcha in the northern part of the canton with 102 inhabitants, the mean altitude of the canton is 4000 m .

The canton of Atulcha is located in the southern part of the Altiplano on the edge of the Salar de Uyuni salt lake . The region's climate is typical of the time of day ; in which the mean temperature fluctuations in the course of the day are more pronounced than in the course of the seasons.
