The canton of Reims-1 is a French constituency in the Reims arrondissement in the Marne department and in the Grand Est region . Jean-Pierre Fortune ( UMP ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Department since 2004 .

The canton consists of part of the city of Reims with a total of 26,438 inhabitants (as of 2017)
Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Reims-1 included the four municipalities of Ormes , Reims , Thillois and Tinqueux . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 5119.
