The Canton Ay was 2015 a French constituency in the district Epernay , in Marne department and in the region of Champagne-Ardenne ; its main town was Ay , from 2001 to 2015 Dominique Lévêque was the representative in the general council of the département.
The canton was annexed to the Arrondissement Épernay with effect from January 1, 2006 . Before it belonged to the Arrondissement of Reims .
The canton Ay was 176.47 km² and had (2006) 17,944 inhabitants, which corresponded to a population density of 102 inhabitants per km².
