Germaine is about nine kilometers northeast of Épernay . Germaine is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villers-Allerand and Rilly-la-Montagne in the north, Ville-en-Selve in the east, Fontaine-sur-Ay in the southeast, Avenay-Val-d'Or in the south, Mutigny in the southwest, Saint- Imoges in the west and Sermiers in the northwest.
