Ville-en-Selve is a French commune with 279 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Reims and the canton of Mourmelon-Vesle et Monts de Champagne (until 2015 canton of Verzy ). The inhabitants are called Gimbres .

Ville-en-Selve is about 19 kilometers south-southeast of Reims city center . Ville-en-Selve is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Chigny-les-Roses and Ludes in the north, Val de Livre in the south and east, Fontaine-sur-Ay in the south and southwest and Germaine in the west.
