Ventelay is a French commune with 259 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Reims and the canton of Fismes-Montagne de Reims (until 2015 the canton of Fismes ). The inhabitants are called Ventelaisiens .
geography
Ventelay is located about 30 kilometers west-northwest of Reims city center . Ventelay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Concevreux and Roucy in the north, Guyencourt in the north-east, Bouvancourt in the east, Montigny-sur-Vesle in the south, Romain in the west and south-west and Meurival in the north-west.
