geography

Merfy is about nine kilometers northwest of Reims . The Vesle limits the municipality to the south. Merfy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pouillon in the north, Saint-Thierry in the east and north-east, Saint-Brice-Courcelles in the south-east, Champigny in the south, Châlons-sur-Vesle in the west and south-west and Chenay in the west and north-west.
