Mailly-Champagne is a French commune with 661 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Reims and the canton of Mourmelon-Vesle et Monts de Champagne (until 2015 canton of Verzy ). The inhabitants are called maillotins .

Mailly-Champagne is located about 17 kilometers south-southeast of the city center of Reims . Mailly-Champagne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Puisieulx in the north, Verzenay in the east, Val de Livre in the south and Ludes in the west.
