Val-de-Vesle is a French commune with 912 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Reims and the canton of Mourmelon-Vesle et Monts de Champagne (until 2015 Verzy ).
geography
Val-de-Vesle is about sixteen kilometers east-south-east of Reims on Vesle . The Canal de l'Aisne à la Marne crosses the municipality to the south . Val-de-Vesle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of bein-Nauroy in the north, Prosnes in the east, Sept-Saulx in the east and south-east, Les Petites-Loges in the south-east, Villers-Marmery in the south, Verzy in the south-west, Beaumont-sur-Vesle in the west as well as Prunay in the west and northwest. The Val-de-Vesle stop is on the Châlons-en-Champagne – Reims railway line .

In 1965 Val-de-Vesle was founded from the municipalities of Courmelois , Thuisy and Wez .
