Villers-Allerand is a French commune in the Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ) with 885 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). It belongs to the canton of Mourmelon-Vesle et Monts de Champagne (until 2015 Verzy ) in the arrondissement of Reims .
geography
Villers-Allerand is about ten kilometers south of Reims on the edge of the Montagne de Reims . Villers-Allerand is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Champfleury in the north, Montbré in the northeast, Rilly-la-Montagne in the east, Germaine in the south, Sermiers in the west and Villers-aux-Nœuds in the northwest.
