Taissy is a municipality with 2199 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the northeast of France in the Marne department of the Région Grand Est . Taissy belongs to the Reims arrondissement and is part of the Reims-8 canton (until 2015: Reims-7 canton ). The inhabitants are called Taissotins .
Geographical location
Taissy is a banlieue in southeast Reims '. The Canal de l'Aisne à la Marne limits the municipality to the north. Taissy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Reims and Saint-Léonard in the north, Puisieulx in the east, Ludes in the south, Rilly-la-Montagne in the south and south-west, Montbré in the south-west and Trois-Puits and Cormontreuil in the west.
