Caurel is a French commune with 655 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Reims and the Canton of Bourgogne . The inhabitants are called Caurellois .

geography

Caurel is about nine kilometers northeast of Reims . Caurel is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pomacle in the north, Lavannes in the east, Berru in the south and Witry-lès-Reims in the west.
