Thillois is a French commune in the northeast of the country with 449 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). It is located in the Marne department in the Grand Est region . Saint-Brice-Courcelles belongs to the Reims arrondissement and is part of the canton of Fismes-Montagne de Reims (until 2015: canton of Reims-1 ).
Geographical location
Thillois is located in the center of Champagne as a banlieue on the western edge of Reims . The northern border of the municipality is the Vesle river . Thillois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Châlons-sur-Vesle in the north, Champigny in the east and northeast, Tinqueux in the east and southeast, Ormes in the south, Vrigny in the southwest, Gueux in the west and Muizon in the northwest.
In the south of the municipality is the motorway junction of the Autoroute A4 and Autoroute A26 . The Route nationale 31 crosses the municipality.
