Bourgogne-Fresne is a French commune with 1,396 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Reims and is the main town ( bureau centralisateur ) in the canton of Bourgogne .
geography
Bourgogne-Fresne is about ten kilometers north-northeast of Reims . The Suippe limits the community in the northwest. Bourgogne-Fresne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Auménancourt and Saint-Étienne-sur-Suippe in the north, Boult-sur-Suippe in the northeast, Pomacle in the east, Caurel in the southeast, Witry-lès-Reims and Bétheny in the south and Brimont in the west and Southwest.
