Sermiers is a French commune with 561 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Reims and the canton of Fismes-Montagne de Reims (until 2015 canton of Verzy ). The inhabitants are called Sarmates .

Sermiers is about 16 kilometers south of Reims city center . Sermiers is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Villers-aux-Nœuds in the north, Villers-Allerand in the east and northeast, Germaine in the east and southeast, Saint-Imoges in the south, Nanteuil-la-Forêt in the southwest, Courtagnon in the west and southwest and Chamery in the West and northwest.
