Gueux is a French commune with 1,687 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Reims and the canton of Fismes-Montagne de Reims (until 2015: canton of Ville-en-Tardenois ). The inhabitants are called Gueuxiens .

Gueux is around eight kilometers west of Reims . Gueux is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Muizon in the north, Thillois in the east, Ormes in the south-east, Coulommes-la-Montagne in the south, Méry-Prémecy in the south-west, Janvry in the west and Rosnay in the west and north-west.

The A4 autoroute runs through the municipality .
