Sept-Saulx is a French commune with 615 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Reims and the canton of Mourmelon-Vesle et Monts de Champagne (until 2015 Verzy ). The inhabitants are called September Sicily .

geography

Sept-Saulx is located about twenty kilometers southeast of Reims on Vesle . The Canal de l'Aisne à la Marne crosses the municipality to the west . Sept-Saulx is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Val-de-Vesle in the north and west, Prosnes in the northeast, Baconnes in the east, Mourmelon-le-Petit in the southeast, Livry-Louvercy in the south and southeast, and Billy-le-Grand in the south Southwest and Les Petites-Loges to the west and southwest. The Sept-Saulx stop is on the Châlons-en-Champagne – Reims railway line .
