Val de Livre is a municipality in the French Marne department in the Grand Est administrative region , which has existed since January 1, 2016 . It belongs to the canton of Épernay-1 and the arrondissement of Épernay . The Commune nouvelle was created by amalgamating the previous municipalities of Tauxières-Mutry and Louvois . The former is the main town (chef-lieu). In addition to the main settlements, Val de Livre also includes the hamlet of Clos de Fourches, which formerly belonged to Tauxières-Mutry.
