Champillon is a French commune with 505 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Épernay and the canton Épernay-1 (until 2015 Ay ). The inhabitants are called Champillonais .
geography
Champillon is located about five kilometers north-northeast of Épernay and about 22 kilometers south of Reims . Champillon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Imoges in the north and east, Aÿ-Champagne in the southeast, Dizy in the south and Hautvillers in the west.
