Damery is a French commune with 1,438 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the Arrondissement Épernay and the canton Dormans-Paysages de Champagne (until 2015: canton Épernay-2 ). The inhabitants are called dameryats .

Damery is located about 22 kilometers south-southwest of Reims on the Marne . Damery is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fleury-la-Rivière in the north, Romery in the north and northeast, Hautvillers in the east and northeast, Cumières in the east, Mardeuil in the southeast, Vauciennes in the south, Boursault in the southwest, Venteuil in the west and Belval-sous- Châtillon in the northwest.

The southern municipal boundary partially forms the former route nationale 3 (today's D3).
