Le Baizil is a French commune with 253 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Épernay and the canton Dormans-Paysages de Champagne (until 2015 Montmort-Lucy ). The residents are called Bezitiers .

Le Baizil is located about 33 kilometers south-southwest of Reims . Le Baizil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Festigny in the north, Saint-Martin-d'Ablois in the northeast, Brugny-Vaudancourt in the east, Montmort-Lucy in the south, Corribert in the southwest, Mareuil-en-Brie in the west and Igny-Comblizy in the northwest .
