Venteuil is a French commune with 529 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Marne department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the Arrondissement Épernay and the canton Dormans-Paysages de Champagne (until 2015: canton Épernay-2 ). The inhabitants are called venteuillats .
geography
Venteuil is about 21 kilometers south-southwest of Reims . The Marne river partially limits the municipality to the south. Venteuil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Belval-sous-Châtillon in the north, Damery in the east, Boursault in the south, Reuil in the west and south-west and Villers-sous-Châtillon in the west and north-west.
